To Alexander, elect of Ross, former archdeacon of Ross, b.dec.,
priest. Provision of Alexander to the bishopric of Ross as a benefice
reserved to papal provision under Alexander, late bishop, on whose
death outside the curia the chapter in ignorance of the reservation
had elected the said Alexander; which election and subsequent events
are declared invalid, but to prevent a long harmful vacancy the
above provision is granted.

from Robert, elect of Dunkeld, the oath of fealty according to the
proper form, which ought to be made at the Roman curia but
which, on account of his labours and expenses, he is dispensed to
make at home, and to send a copy of the oath to the curia by the
next envoy.
