Aberdeen, for the sake of exchange with John de Karale who
through his procurator, William Stugs, priest, had similarly resigned
his parish church of Bamf. The bishop had provided Richard to
Bamf and John to Eglesion, peaceful possession being obtained; but
on John’s death outside the Roman Curia, Richard had doubted the
validity of his provision.

To John de Carrik, alias Maliasith, perpetual vicar of Munyfoyte,
St Andrews diocese. Indult. Having been dispensed of a defect of
birth as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman,
John had obtained the above perpetual vicarage, and now at the
petition of Robert, king of Scots, whose domestic chaplain he is,
he is dispensed to hold three compatible benefices, one a cathedral
canonry and prebend, with power of exchange without making
future mention of his defect of birth and dispensation.

To Patrick Lawson, rector of Musfald, Glasgow diocese. Indult. As
the pope had lately provided him to the vacant parish church of
Lathmaban, Glasgow diocese, which he now possesses, he should,
therefore, have resigned the parish church of Musfald; but being a
second year student of canon law at Paris, he is dispensed to hold
both churches, although within two years of having obtained
possession of Lathmaban he must exchange it or Musfald for a
compatible benefice.
