To the dean of Dunkeld. Mandate to reserve to William Nori,
canon of St Andrews, os A, a benefice in the gift of the prior aad
chapter of St Andrews, with or without cure whether a priory or
office, provided it is wont to be governed by a canon of the said
order, value -£60 sterling, vacant on or after 8 Kal, Mar. [22 Feb.],
1402.1

To the dean of Moray. Mandate to reserve to Robert Ambrosii,
perpetual chaplain of the altar of St Laurence in the parish church
of Kilmernode, Glasgow diocese, at the petition of Robert, king of
Scotland, a benefice in the gift of the bishop, dean and chapter of
Glasgow, even if a canonry and prebend in a cathedral, if with
cure to the value of 25 merks sterling and if without cure to the
value of 18 merks sterling, vacant on or after Kal. Feb. [1 Feb.],
1401, notwithstanding that Robert, chaplain to the said king of
Scots, is known to hold the said perpetual chaplaincy of St Laurence
and another chaplaincy at the altar of Blessed Mary in the parish
church of Kilmacobus, Glasgow diocese, combined value not exceed-
ing -£$0 of Tours to a non-resident.2

To the abbot of Holyrood. Mandate to collate Alexander de
Remoryny, of noble birth, 13 years old, clerk, St Andrews diocese,
to a canonry of Glasgow with reservation of a prebend vacant
after 9 Kal. Oct. [23 Sept.], 1395, notwithstanding the papal con¬
stitution to the contrary stating the canonical age for holding a
prebend in a cathedral to be 14 years of age.
