1899 ; joined at Aberdeen, 28th May, 1917 ; served in France ; died of wounds in France, 2nd
Oct., 1 918. Son of Henry and Margaret Home Cooper, Mains of Dalvey, Cromdale. Occu-
pation, farm servant.
COOPER, Murdo. No. 8710, Tpr., 1st Royal Dragoons ; born at Dallas, 12th May, 1894 ; joined
at Edinburgh, 6th Jan., 1913 ; served overseas. Son of David and Flora Cooper, 114b, High
Street, Elgin. Occupation, grocer.
COOPER, William. No. 6892, Piper ; born at Cuchanroy, 25th Dec. ; joined at Elgin, 9th Jan.,
1915 ; served in France. Son of Alexander Cooper and Isobel Grant or Cooper. Occupation,

gunshot wounds received in action, 23rd Nov., 1916, at 13 Stationary Hospital, Boulogne.

sniper in France, August 15th, 1917. Son of James and Annie Corbett, 7, Thunderton Place,
Elgin. Occupation, baker.

Cottage, Rothes, 26th July, 1890 ; joined at Cromarty, 4th August, 1914 ; served in
France ; killed near Arras, 26th May, 1917. Son of Maggie Corbett. Occupation, motor
mechanic.

Ross-shire, 22nd Feb., 1890, employed for a considerable time in Morayshire ; joined in

Florence Corbett, Farm Grieve, West Lettoch, Advie.

June, 1895, residing in Lossiemouth since 1918 ; joined at Portsmouth, Nov., 1915 ; served

(deceased). Occupation, cooper.
