discharged 28th Dec., 1914 ; enlisted into Mercantile Marine Reserve, 15th May, 1917 ; served
at Bedford and Loch Ewe, and on H.M.D. " Earn." Son of James and Jessie Anderson,
Westerton, Findrassie, by Elgin. Occupation, printer.
ANDERSON, Alexander Thornton. Capt., 4th Seaforths ; born at Dingwall, Ross-shire, 16th
June, 1887 ; joined at Dingwall, 4th Augt., 1914 ; Sergt. on mobilization in 4th Seaforths,
appointed to a commissioned rank as dental officer, April, 1916 ; served in France, Salonika
and Mesopotamia ; wounded in right hand at Neuve Chapelle, March, 1915 ; awarded Mons
Star. Son of Eric (deceased) and Mrs. Jane Anderson, Duff Avenue, Elgin. Occupation,

ANDERSON, Alfred F. No. 82715, Cpl., No. 1 Section, B Coy., 37th Batt., M.G.C. ; born at
Queen Street, Branderburgh, Dec. 10th, 1897 ; joined at Elgin, Oct. 3rd, 1916 ; served in
