Q^ Did the families of Ifrael continue to dwell
in Egypt ?
A. Yes, till another Pharaoh king of Egypt
made flaves of them, and drowned their children.,
and then God delivered them by the hand of Moie|,
Exod. i. ii. 22. and iii. 7. and v. 1.
Q^. .."Who was this -Moles Ì
A He was one of the children of Ifrael, who was
wondroufly faved from drowning, by Pharaoh's ovvei
daughter, when he was a child, Exod. ii. 10.
Q^ How did God appoint him to deliver * If-
rael ?
A. God appeared to him in a burning bufh,
as he was keeping iheep, and lent him to
Pharaoh, to bid him let Ifrael go, Exod. hi.

Q^ What did Mofes do to prove that God had
fent him?
A. He wrought feveral miracles, or iigns and won-
ders, in the light of Pharaoh, Exod.iv. 1. — 10.
Q^ Plow did Mofes deliver the people from their
fiavery ?
A. When Pharaoh re fu fed to let the people go,
God gave him power to finite, Egypt with many
plagues. See the viith, viiith, ixth, xth, and xkh
chapters of Exodus.

cured the releafe of Krael ?
A. An angel deftroyed all the firfl: born of the
Egyptians in one night, but he pafièd over, and
did not hurt any of the families of llrael, Exod.

membrance to following ages ?
ji> Qod appointed the yearly facrifice* of a lamb
and fed them all in the land of Egypt, Gen. xlv.
