and teyndis. And ther is lykwayes a ratificatioun of the Colledg of Justice,
thair former Uberties, and a taxatioun of twa c m merk given to thame to be
mortifiet to the vse of that hous for evir. They have power to vplift the same
thamselfis, and to appoint thair awine collectour.
The Artickle anent the rescinding of the Act of Parliament twiching the
fyve zeiris possessioun of foirfawt persones, wes not hard of nor voittit. Sindrie
vther privat ratificatiounes went throw, and amongst the rest, the priviledges
of the Churches wes ratifiet.
Ther is adjoynit to the committe tuiching the Erie of Airth, the Thesaurer
of Ingland, the Chalmerland and the Secretar ; swa that it is thocht that mat-
teris will goe hard with him.
The moneyes that ar gevin out in bandis befoir this Act, if the anuelrent
be 8 of the hundrethe, payes none to the King bot the tuentie penny as of
befoir ; bot if the anuelrent be 9 of the i°, the King gettis a mark, and if for
ten, the King gettis tua. Bot if the bandis be renewit, quhatever be the extent
of the anuelrent, the King must haive twa merkis of the anuell, by and attour
the 20 penny.
It is surmeisit that Hadintoun is to be Chauncellour, and Lauderdaill
President of Counsell.
