this berar, our procuratour, to haf the restis and tyndis resting be zow to ws of
zour tyndis, to be payet to hym. In this trowbillus tyme, nocht dowting bot
ze wyll gladlye mak thankfull payment of the samyn to hym, quhairby ze sail
addett ws to remember heyrvpon in ane better tyme quhilk wyll cum sone to
zour pleisour, and thankis, as knawis God, cpiha haf zow in his blissit keping.

116. Rycht honorable Schir, eftyr my verray hartly commendationis. I haif ressauit
zour vritting, quhairby I persaif alwayis zour guid wyll : and as to the ward
and mariaige of Over Pollok, I schew my maister Maxvell my haile mynd
thairintill or ve departyt. I nevir gaif lauboris thairintyll, as God be my Juge,
bot onely for the plesur of my maister, and conforme to his mynd, safar as I
culd onderstaud be his speiking and zour vritting, and alwayis for zour veile.
