Part VI. Marion Wedderburn, 1719. She is pursuer with her husband who is not named, in an action v.
Chap. III. R. Giltnore, 8 March 1719 (D.B.R. 509). I think, as there noted, that the word Marion should be Mariot
or Margaret, and that the reference is to Margaret Wedderburn, wife of John Paterson of Craigie (ante,
pp. 251-52.)
Peter "Wedderburn or Weatherburn, merchant in Edinburgh, is grantee of a bond dated 2 April
1673. See R.D. 182, note.
Peter "Wedderburn, in Edinburgh, coachman, married Agnes Walker, daughter of John Walker,
and by her who d. a widow at 304, Lawnmarket S. Giles, Edinburgh, rct. 82, 20 April 1861 {Edin. Reg.
House), had issue a son and two daughters : —
John Wedderburn, a poulterer, who died at 75, Canongate, Edinburgh, Eet. 46, 10 March
1861 (ib). He married Elizabeth Campbell, who died at Edinburgh 8 May 1892,
set. 85 (ib).
Jessie, present at her mother's death. She married at Edinburgh 9 Nov. 1866, tet. 45, Andrew
Whellans (ib.) (The entry, however, wrongly gives her father's name as John).
Agues, married Alexander Hastie, and died at Edinburgh, set. 69, in 1888 {ib.).
Rachel Wedderburn, wife of Alexander Gray. She died before 1869, leaving a son, John Wedder-
burn Gray, who m. Ann Smith and died set. 40, at Aberdeen, 22 July 1869 (Edin. Reg. House.)
Robert Wedderburn in co. Roxburgh 1575. See above s. John Wedderburn in co. Roxburgh.
Thomas Wedderburn in Some, co. Ayr. 1613. There is a contract, 29 Oct. 1613, by which
Alexander Hamilton and others set in tack certain lands in the parish of Loudoun, bailliary of Cuning-
hame, co. Ayr, to Thomas Wedderburn in Some and Robert Wedderburn "above the bray." The
contract is dated at Kilmarnock, co. Ayr. George Wodburne in Auldtoun of Libertoun is a witness
(R.D. 54.) See above s. Robert Wedderburn, co. Ayr.
Thomas Wedderburn died at Perth, pet. 19, 30 May 1855. His mother's name is given as Elizabeth
(Edin. Rtg. House.)

leaving a will (L.W. 45.)
William Wedderburn, married at Houndwood, Coldingham, 18 July 1872, M. Murray, and had
a son, John Wedderburn, born at Whitsome, 14 May 1883.
