Two certificates of baptisms are pasted into the book : — Part III.
" This is to certify that Catharine Georgina, daughter of John and Mary Wedderburn born Feb. 1st 1791 App.
was baptised this 16th day of March 1791 as appears by the Register of Baptisms for the South West
Division of S' Pancras in the county of Middlesex.

" This is to certify that Thomasina, daughter of John and Mary Wedderburn born Sept. 19 th 1793 was
baptised this 14th day of Nov r 1793 as appears by the Register of Baptisms for the South West
Division of S l Pancras in the county of Middlesex.

(b) Thomas Wedderburn' s Prayer book.
This book, published at " Oxford. Printed by the University Printer 1729," is bound in red leather
and has inside the cover a small leather panel, stamped : — " Thomas Wedderburn, 1732." It is now at
Marfield, Blairgowrie. On the two first blank pages is the following : —

On the back of page 2 is written —
(a) John Wedderburn died 29 111 Dec r 1820 aged 77 years and a quarter. Buried in the Vault of S*
James Chapel, Hampstead Road.
(6) John Wedderburn (his son) bom at Clapham 8 th Jany 1798, married 30 th April 1823 Lady Helen
Ogilvy, died April 2 nd 1839. She died April 29 th 1868. Their son John Walter born 1824 Beddington
July 20 th , married April 27 th Marg* A. Whaite (1854).
(c) John Walter Maurice born at Stirling March 17 tb 1855. Helen Margaret Ogilvy born at Rosebank
Dec r 12* 1857, Charles David S» Clair born Feb? 7 th 1864.
[The first of these three entries is in the hand of Mary Wisdom Bedward, the other in that of Mrs.
John Walter Wedderburn. I have omitted some memoranda stating the gift of the book in 1820 to John
Wedderburn of Auchterhouse by his mother ; in 1837 by him to his son John ; and again in 1870 by him
to his son John Walter.]
