richt ofRegalitie, offices of Scherifschip and Crownerie above spe-
cified or before thair Commissionaris, quhatsumever day or

and delyver fra the said Erie, his airis and successours, lykeas the
said Johne Erie of Sutherland be the tenor heirof resignes, re-
nounces, surranders, overgives, and delyvers fra him and his for-
saids, all and haill the said heretable richt and titill of Regalitie
of all and haill the said Erledome of Sutherland, and haill lands,
baronies, and utheris perteining and annexed thairto, with the
pertinents, togidder with the said heretable offices of Scherifschip
and Crownerie of all and haill the forsaid Scherifdome of Suther-
land, with the haill free privieledges, liberties, commodities, immu-
nities, casualities, and dewties perteining and belonging thairto,
togidder with all richt, titill, intres, clame of richt, propertie,
and possessioun, petitorie, and possessorie quhilk the said Erie or
his forsaids had, hes, or onywayis may have, ask, clame, or pre-
tend thairto, or to ony pairt thairof in tyme cuming in the handis
of our said Soveraue Lord or His Hienes' successours, or thair
Commissionaris forsaid, or in the handis of the said Erie, his imme-
diat, lawfull superiours of the samyn. In favourie of His Majestic,

Erie and his forsaidis, the libertie and privieledge of Baronn Courtis,
pit and gallous, with the jurisdictioune of Baronie liberties and
privieledges of the samyn within so many of the landis, baronies,
Erledome and Scherifdome forsaid quhilk the said Erie and his-
successours holds, or sail hold, of His Majestie and His Hienes's
successours, in frie baronie, and no further actis, instrumentis, and
