29.  CHARTER of RATIFICATION and CONFIRMATION by King
James the 6^th of a Charter granted by Walter Urquhart
Shirrif of Cromarty to Elizabeth McKenzie his Spouse in
Liferent of the Davoch Lands of Bray and one Davach Land
of Bralangwell and that in Satisfaction to her of her Third or
Teirce of Lands dated 9 January 1576 The Ratification is
dated at Dalkeith 9^th March 1576.

30.   CHARTER by Donald Urquhart designed Fewar of the
Subchantor of Ross's manse, to Walter Urquhart of Cromarty
and Elizabeth McKenzie his Spouse in Liferent and to Henry
Urquhart their Second Son in Fee of the Said Subchantors
Manse and pertinents Dated 7 January 1573.

Urquhart Dean of Ross with consent of the Chapter To
Walter Urquhart of Cromarty of a Mansion or house and
Yeard lying within the Deanry which is dated 16 October
1577 The Seasine dated 4^th March 1578.

33. CHARTER by James Burnet Chaplain of the Chaplainry
of St. Rules with the consent of Walter Urquhart Shirrif of
Cromarty and of the Baillies and Community of the Burgh of
Cromarty his patrons To Alexander Urquhart Son to Alex-
ander Urquhart of Balblair and his heirs whatsomever Whom
failling to John Urquhart uncle to the Said Alexander and
his heirs Male bearing the name and Arms of Urquhart Whom
all failling to the Said Walter Urquhart Shirrif of Cromarty
and his heirs Male of the Mansion of the Said Chaplainry of
St. Rules with the Garden and Croft thereof extending to
four Acres of Ground. With Several other peices of Ground
therein particularly Bounded dated at the Castle of Cromarty
Ult^o November 1577.

34. CHARTER by Alexander Urquhart Dean of Ross to
Walter Urquhart Shirrif of Cromarty of the Deans Lodging
or Manse pertaining to the Said Deanry lying within the
Chanonry of Ross and Shirrifdom of Inverness dated 5 Feb-
ruary 1577.
