4. In the event of a tie the Cup will be awarded to the unit
who obtains marks in the greater number of events.
5• Members of the W.R.A.C./T.A. will be eligible to score marks
for their unit if taking part in any of the authorized events.
6. Marks for additional competitions or events which may
be organized from time to time by the T.A.S.A. can be added to
the schedule in para. 3 at the discretion of the General Committee.
7. A record book will be kept by the Secretary. T.A.S.A.
RULES OF THE TERRITORIAL ARMY FOOTBALL
CHALLENGE CUP COMPETITION
1. General
The competition, to be called " The Territorial Army Associa-
tion Football Challenge Cup Competition," shall be competed for
annually, whenever circumstances permit.
The laws of the game under which it is played shall be the laws
for the time being of the International Football Association Board.
The Cup will be held by the winning unit and returned to the
Secretary, T.A.S.A., by the 1st March following the season of
winning. Medals or suitable souvenirs will be given to both teams
in the final.
2. Entry
The competition is open to all T.A. units with properly consti-
tuted clubs. To comply with the rules of the Football Association,
units in England must be affiliated to their respective County
Football Association to which they must have paid their subscription
for the ensuing season.
There will be NO entrance fee.
3. Qualifications
The rules regarding eligibility are laid down in paragraphs
16
and
18 of Rules of the T.A.S.A.
Professional footballers may NOT play in the competition.
