1922. Plunging included in the list of events.
1923. Name changed to " The Army Swimming Union " to avoid
confusion in the use of the initial letters A.S.A.—The
Amateur Swimming Association which is the ruling body in
England.
Ioo Yards Breast Stroke and loo Yards Back Stroke added
to the events, and the 66 2/3 Yards Medley Race deleted
from the programme.
Standard Certificates introduced.
1924. First Inter-Service Championships Meeting took place
resulting in a tie between the 2 Services taking part, namely
the R.N. & R.M. and The Army.
Bronze standard medals awarded.

Ioo Yards Free Style (Territorial Army) included for the first
time in the list of Championship Events.
The late Lieut.-General Sir Richard Butler, then President
of the A.S.U. presented the Challenge Trophy for the Inter-
Unit Team Relay Race.
