RULES OF THE ARMY SAILING ASSOCIATION
1. Name
The Association shall be called the Army Sailing Association.
2.
Objects
The objects of the Association are:
(a) To encourage sailing amongst all ranks in the Army.
(b) To establish and organise Groups at suitable centres at
home, each having its own local Committee and Honorary
Secretary to deal with local policy.
(c) To assist Groups of the Association in the U.K. in the
provision of boats and the replacement of sails.
(d) To act as a central body for co-ordination of Army sailing
and liaison with civilian yachting associations. The
Association does not seek to establish any sovereignty over
other Army sailing clubs.
