Election of Officers
13. The officers of the Union shall be elected at the Annual
General Meeting. Vacancies occurring subsequent to an Annual
General Meeting shall be filled by nominees of the General Com-
mittee.
Selection Committee
14. The selection of riders for Inter-Service and other representa-
tive matches shall be carried out by the Executive Committee, or
an
ad hoc
Selection Committee to be formed as required.
Date Fixing Conference

5. The General Committee shall meet in November each year
for the purpose of drawing up the programme of events for the
following season. The Time Trial, Track and Road Race
Secretaries, Command and Corps Representatives shall produce their
own programmes in advance for co-ordination at the meeting.
Army Cycling Colours
16. (a) Army Cycling Colours (the Army C.U. cloth badge)
shall be awarded to every individual who :—
(i) Is a member of a qualifying Army team in an Inter-Service
Championship according to the rules of the particular
Championship.
(ii) Is placed either first, second or third in an Army Individual
Championship (except the Army Cycle Cross Champion-
ship).
(iii) In the name of the Army, Army Cycling Union, or an
Army Cycling Club, effects an outstanding performance,
or series of performances, such awards to be made by
decision of the General Committee.
(b) Only one badge shall be awarded to any individual. Should
the holder of an Army Cycling Colour re-qualify in years subsequent
to his original award he shall be given a bar on which the qualifying
year shall be embroidered.
(c) Individuals awarded the Army Cycling Colour should wear it
on their racing vests when competing in Army or Inter-Service
competitions.
Racing Costume
17. The Army racing costume shall be a maroon vest and dark
blue (or black) shorts. This costume may be worn in time trials
on public roads.
All Army cycling clubs should register their racing colours
with the Army C.U.

Rules for Army Cycling Championships
Eligibility
I. Army Cycling Championships shall be open to all male Regular,
Short Service and National Service officers and other ranks who are
either serving or on release leave on the day of the championships.
