8. The Union shall affiliate to the British Cycling Federation,
Road Time Trials Council, and Road Records Association.

General Committee
9. The management of the Union shall be conducted by a
General Committee as under (nine to form a quorum) :—
Chairman
Vice-Chairman
Hon. General Secretary
Hon. Treasurer
Hon. Time Trial Secretary
Hon. Track Secretary.
Hon. Road Race Secretary
Command Representatives.
The General Committee shall meet whenever necessary, but not
less than twice annually.
Executive Committee
io. An Executive Committee shall meet whenever necessary in
order to deal, on behalf of the General Committee, with any matters
placed before it. The decisions of the Executive Committee shall
be accepted as those of the General Committee subject to confirma-
tion

at the next General Committee Meeting.
The Executive Committee shall be composed of the Vice-Chairman,
Hon. Gen. Secretary, Track, Road Race and Time Trial Secretaries,
the Hon. Treasurer and two other members to be co-opted (four
to form a quorum).
Annual General Meeting
I I.
(a) The Annual General Meeting of the Union shall be held
in November on a day to be selected by the Executive Committee.
(b)
All members may attend this meeting and are entitled to vote
on all matters appearing on the Agenda.
(c) Members' proposals for inclusion on the Agenda must be
submitted to the Hon. General Secretary by at least
2 t
days before
the date of the meeting. All proposals must be supported by a
seconder.
Voting

(a) All issues at Annual General Meetings, and General and
Executive Committee Meetings, shall be decided by a simple
majority, except in the case of those relating to the alteration of
Rules (see sub-para. (c) below).
(b)
Each member shall have one vote, but in the case of equality
the Chairman shall have an extra casting vote.
(c) Proposals relating to the alteration of the Rules of the Union
may be included only on the Agendas of Annual General Meetings
and General Committee Meetings. Such proposals must be sup-
ported by at least two-thirds of the votes cast in order to be adopted.
