(a) No boy in Class A will be accepted under 6 stone 7 lbs.,
and no boy in Class B will be accepted under 7 stone. It should
be noted that io stone 7 lbs. is the maximum weight in Class A
and

stone 7 lbs. is the maximum weight in Class B. Boys over
those maximum weights cannot be accepted.
(b) Gloves shall be of a standard weight of
8 ozs.
(c)
Duration
of
Bouts.
Class A two of 11 minutes and one of
2
minute rounds. Class B and C three rounds of
2
minutes.
(d)
No junior may box more than three bouts on any one day.
(e)
No smelling salts or stimulants of any kind, other than water,
shall be given to a junior boxer immediately prior to or during a bout.
(f) Weigh-in to be not more than

hours before the boxing is
due to commence.
33. Date and Venue
The date and venue will be decided annually by the Army B.A.
The competition normally takes place in February each year.
34. Gloves
8 oz.
Gloves will be used.
35. THE ARMY INTER-UNIT TEAM BOXING
CHAMPIONSHIPS
(a)
The above competition is open to any unit in the U.K.,
and B.A.O.R.
(b) Entrance
Fee.
The entrance fee is £t io o per team.
i o/- of this amount will be retained by Command Sports Boards
and Independent District Sports Boards before forwarding the
fees in bulk to the Hon. Treasurer, Army B.A., at the conclusion of
the Command/District competition.
36. Organisation.
The Competition will be organised in two zones :—
Zone A. U.K.
Zone B. B.A.O.R.
Each Zone will find its winning team by the dates laid down by the
Army B.A. and the Draw will be as follows.
