PROTESTS
All questions as to qualifications of players or interpretation of
the rules, or disputes during the matches, must be referred to the
Command Football Committee, who will, if necessary, refer the
same at once to the General Committee, and thair decision shall be
final.
Any protest relating to the ground, goal posts or bars, or other
appurtenances of the game, shall be lodged with the referee before
the commencement of the match, and must be communicated to
the opposing club at the earliest possible moment. The referee
shall require the responsible club to remove the cause of objection
if this is possible without unduly delaying the progress of the match.
When an objection has been lodged with a referee, a protest with
a fee of one guinea must be made to the General Committee, and
neither objection nor protest shall be withdrawn except by per-
mission of the General Committee.

i.—FINANCE
(a) Gate money may be taken and officers, soldiers, sailors and
airmen may be charged admission to the ground.
(b)
The whole of the proceeds of the gate after paying therefrom
the expenses noted below shall be divided equally between
the two clubs, except in the semi-finals and final:
Printing.
Postage.
Advertising.
Police and gatemen's charges.
Referee's and linesmen's charges.
Hire of ground.
(c) The cost of

second class railway or boat, tram or bus fares
incurred by the visiting club from permanent station to ground
will be divided equally between the two clubs.
(d)
When teams proceed by motor coach the cost of hire, not
exceeding
14
second class railway or boat, tram or bus fares,
will be divided equally between the two clubs.
(e) When a gate is taken travelling expenses under
(c) or (d)
may be paid from the proceeds after the match expenses noted
in
(b)
have been met.
(f) In the semi-finals and final the Army F.A. will make all
arrangements and will pay the expenses indicated in
(b), (c)
or
(d).

CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY
Before the commencement of a match the officer in charge of each
team shall hand to the officer in charge of the opposing team a
Certificate of Eligibility signed by the Commanding Officer
in
accordance with the following proforma :
