5. Teams consist of 5 strings, placed in .order of merit, each of
whom plays his opposite number in the other two Services.
6. The normal rules, as promulgated by the Combined Services
Sports Board relating to the eligibility of players, will prevail in this
Tournament.
7.
The team which beats both the other teams will be the win-
ners irrespective of the total number of individual matches won. If
each team wins once, the winner will be decided by the number of
individual matches won. Where these are equal the event will be
decided on the actual result between the two teams concerned.
8. Matches shall be played under the current S.R.A. Rules.
9. A marker, together with a referee, shall be provided for all
matches.
io. The Service winning the Tournament shall have the right
to retain the Inter-Service Cup for one year. That Service is re-
sponsible for producing the cup at the subsequent year's Tournament
for presentation to the winning Team on the appropriate day.
i i. Arrangements for the presentation of the Cup shall be made
by the Service Secretary organising the Tournament.
Army Squash Rackets Association Emblems
i. At a meeting of the Army Squash Rackets Association, held on
Friday, 22nd November, 1946, it was decided that Army Colours,
taking the form of an approved badge, should be awarded automati-
cally to all who represent (or have represented) the Army in the
Inter-Services Tournament.
2. A general meeting of the Army Squash Rackets Association
held in December
1953,
recommended that :—
(a) the present badge (mentioned in para. i) was only
suitable for wear on a blazer.
(b)
a further badge suitable for wear on a vest was required.
(c) a tie should be introduced.
These recommendations were confirmed at a Committee Meeting
in March,

3. The Committee decided that the eligibility for these addit-
ional items should be as follows :—
(a)
Vest Badge
Only those officers/other ranks, who have represented
the Army in the Inter-Service Matches (excluding the
Reserve).
(b)
Tie
Those officers/other ranks who have represented the
Army in the Inter-Service matches (including the
Reserve). The Committee may award to others the
right to wear this Tie at their discretion.
4.
Description.
(a)
Blazer Badge
Gold crossed rackets with the Army emblem in the
centre, on a dark blue cloth background. The letters
A.S.R.A. are spaced around the rackets.
