FINANCE
The funds of the Association shall be utilised for such objects as
(i) To assist competitors by paying part of their expenses in
connection with competitions as far as the funds of the
Association will permit.
(ii) To purchase prizes for the competitions run by the Associa-
tion.
(iii) To assist in the purchase of equipment.
(iv) To organize the annual Army and Territorial Army Ski
Meetings and Championships.
At present the annual subscription to the Association is
Regular Officers, ios. ; T.A. and Reserve Officers, Ios. ; All
other ranks, 5s. ; Associate members (who are not eligible to wear
the Association Badge or Tie),

THE ASSOCIATION BADGE AND TIE
The badge will be on a white background and will consist
of a pair of crossed skis with the words " Army Ski Association "
interspersed; the whole enclosed in green laurels and surmounted
by the Royal Crest in gold (or yellow) with the velvet in scarlet.
The tie will be dark blue, with silver embroidered Lion and Crown
above crossed ski-sticks.
The team tie will be dark blue, with gold embroidered Lion and
Crown above crossed ski-sticks.
ARMY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Open to the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces.
The following events will be included :
(a)
Individual
Men Women
Downhill Slalom Downhill Slalom
Cross-country Patrol
(b)
Team
Unit (Men) Corps (Men)
Downhill Slalom Downhill Slalom
Patrol Relay Patrol Relay
(c) Novices, at the discretion of the Race Committee.
(d) Veterans, at the discretion of the Race Committee.
ARMY SKI CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHIES
The Army Ski Champion.
The Army Best All-rounder.
The Army Downhill Champion.
(the Joslin Cup)
The Army Slalom Champion.
The Army Langlauf Champion.
The Champion Slalom Unit
Team.
The Champion Army Ski Team
The Champion Patrol Unit
Team.
The Champion Langlauf Unit
The Army Veteran Ski Champion. Team (the Younger Cup).
The Army Women's Services The Army Patrol Champion
Champion. (the Keightley Trophy).
The Champion Downhill Unit The Territorial Army Ski
Team. Champion (the S.A.S. Cup).
Medals will be awarded to each member of a winning team and
each runner-up in an individual race.
