Combined Services Modern Pentathlon Association.
The Army Modern' Pentathlon Association is affiliated to the
C.S.M.P.A. which is the controlling body for the regular forces
of the Army, Navy Marines and Air Force.
7.
Command Branches.
There shall be a Command or Independent District Modern
Pentathlon Committee whose duties will be :-
(a) To ensure that pentathlon is encouraged and to pass on all
information to interested Units or Individuals.
(b) To provide a Pentathlon Training Centre-where facilities
for training and instruction in all or some of the pentathlon
events are available.
8.
Command Representatives.
In each Command there shall be a representative of the Army
Modern Pentathlon Association, and he should be the Honorary
Secretary of the . Command Modern Pentathlon Committee. The
Command representative is a member of the Executive Committee
of the Army Modern Pentathlon Association.
9.
Affiliation Fee.
(a) Any Unit wishing to compete as a Unit (or send individuals
to compete) in any competition sponsored by the Army
Modern Pentathlon Association, will pay an annual affiliation
fee (due on i st January to cover calendar year) in addition
to the team or individual entrance fee for specific competitions.
The amount of fee will be decided by the General Committee.
(b) The fee will be scaled according to the strength of Units
as
under :-
Units of i,000 and over.
Units of
400
to 999•
Units of zoo to 399•
Units under i oo.
io. Competitions.
(a) A Team and Individual Championship will be held each
year, the date and place to be decided by the General Com-
mittee.
(b) The Team and Individual Championship will be organised
by the Organising Committee as appointed by the General
Committee.

The Organising Committee shall consist of

Organising Secretary.

Officer i /c Statistics.
Co-opted Members for technical and administrative
duties as considered necessary.
