GLIDING
2. Clothing you need for Gliding
Nothing special, but warm sweaters with a windproof outer gar-
ment are an advantage. Goggles are not necessary except for
two-seater training in cold weather or in rain.

Things you should Buy
(a) " Elementary Gliding." Price 3/6d. from the bar. (See
Part I Para. 3).
(b) B.G.A. Log Books. Price 2/6d. each from the bar for
recording all your flights. This is important.
(c) Club Tie. Price 12/6. You qualify if you are a member
and have made at least one flight in a Club Glider.
(d) " Gliding." Price 2/6d. each copy from the bar. A quarterly
magazine devoted to gliding and soaring and will keep you up
to date.
