2. Javelin
i. (Astride). Trunk turning with arms swinging forward, upward
and backward.

(Astride, arms upward). Loose hand shaking inward.

Vigorous wrist shaking.

Shoulder rolling and shaking.
4. (Trunk and foot in throwing position, neck rest). Turn
trunk to side by forcing knee upwards and driving forward and
upwards (Weight slightly back).
5. (Astride). Relaxed over right knee, arms loosely crossed,
swing arms sideways and upward with trunk raising. Turn to
opposite side and repeat.
6. (Astride both arms to right). Swing arms to left (i) back to
right and bend right knee

7. (Pairs). One " Standing Throw " position, other rotate elbow
and resist drive by holding hand.
8. (Standing left foot on check mark. Hands clasped behind).

9. (Standing left foot on check mark. Hand grasping partner's
fingers of left hand). Walk transitionary steps and throw slowly.

javelin.

3. Discus
i. (Feet together). Small and large arm swings with rhythmic
knee movements keeping heels on ground.

(Feet slightly apart). Bend knees, keeping trunk upright and
reach with both hands to touch behind heel to left and right alter-
nately (rhythmic).

(Astride, arms across bent loosely). Trunk full twist with
alternate arm swinging as far to rear as possible.
4. (Astride, knees slightly bent). Swing both arms to right (weight
over right knee) back to left (weight over left knee) back to right
and continue circle overhead to left and back again to right. (Move-
ment to be rhythmic with weight changing from left to right). Repeat
on opposite side.
5. Shoulder rolling and shaking.
6. (Standing arms relaxed to sides). Force arms to swing by
sharp turn of shoulder in direction of throw.
7. (Pairs). (One Standing Throw position, one holding discus
arm). Shoulder turn with resistance (arm to be relaxed and pull to
come from shoulder only).
8. Preliminary swings. First without Discus
9. Repeat 8 with turn and throw. Later with captive discus.
