NOTES FOR THE GUIDANCE OF
HON. SECRETARIES OF ARMY

ASSOCIATIONS
HANDING-OVER CERTIFICATE
On the appointment of a new Hon. Secretary, who also combines
the duties of the Hon. Treasurer, a certificate will be signed by both
the retiring Hon. Secretary and the new Hon. Secretary to the effect
that the accounts, books, etc., of the Association have been
properly handed and taken over.
The following pro-forma will be used :—
HANDING-OVER CERTIFICATE
To: The Secretary,

The undermentioned books, etc., in connection Nvith the
Association have been handed over by me to ....
Minute book.
Cash book.
Paying-in book.
Cheque book.
Receipt book.
Copies of the last and previous audited accounts.
Copy of the handbook of the Governing Body
(i.e.,
the
civilian Association, etc., governing the sport concerned).
Correspondence and details concerning the running of the
previous year's Championships and any matches during
that period.
