NOTE.—It is seldom necessary to have a lap scorer for a One Mile
race. In a team Three Mile race it is considered advisable to give
an offioial a lap scorer's chart for each team-i.e., four competitors.
One lap scorer can only supervise six or seven competitors at the
most. -
