That I fa lang but guerdon gang :

In court rewaird than purchefs I,
Than haif thay malyce and invy,
And fecreitly thay on me lie.
And dois me fclander prevely :

I wald my gyding war devyfit ;
Gife I fpend littill I am difpyfit,
Gif I be nobiU, gentiU, and fre,
A prodigaU man I am fo pryfit :
