On the fides of rivulets and other wet places. Dr.

The root is fibrous, the ftalk quadrangular, the an-
G:les membranaceous : the Bowers are of a dark
red, or blood color, growing in loofe fpikes on
branched angular penduncles.
It has a foetid fmell, but not fo ftrong as the pre-
ceding.

I obferv'd it about Hoddam caftle in Annandak \ but
probably it was only the outcaft of a garden.
The ilalk and leaves are hairy : the flowers oval
and yellow.
