branch'd at the top, downy and vifcid : the leaves
grow alternate and diftant, oblong, thick, con-
vex on the outfide, and obtufe : the flowers grow
in a thin branched umbel, at the top of the fialk,
upon vifcid peduncles : the calyx is downy and
vifcid : the petals are oval and acute, of a red
color, with a hairy Carina of a deeper red.
