Dum vetus in Iseso pectore regnat amor.

Humectat teneros languida nympha siniis.
Silvae illi, solaeque placent in vallibus umbra?,
Quajque sub obscuris labitur unda jugis.
Namque ibi, florifera recubans mcestissima ripa,
Flumineae salicis pallida serta legit; 10

" Talis," ait, " tumulo convenit umbra meo \"
Scilicet, jEqualem repetat si forte coronam,
Lentus adhuc niveo pallet in ore dolor:
