A bh'aìg crioch lachd na'n dun,
ChuireaJh buileachadh t-fhabhaitv
ITrrad fhailt ann do ghnuis,
'Sa bhiodh alg na fir ghionaich,
Anam cuir sgillean ri crùn.
Cha dean mo mholadh na's aird thu,
*S cha'n eil thu 'n trasa na fheum,
*Sgaoil do bhuadhan am pàiheas,
'S cha'n eii thu 'n aire chtiir an ceill,
Ach 'n'air their mi 'n dan brònachs'
Do dhoine mor' air do dheigh,
Mur bi leithid ri inns' orr,
Cha bheag an aoir e dhoibh tdn.
Gheibhar cron dha do sgaoHteachd,
O nach do chaomhuinn thu 'n còrr,
Leis an fhear tha na ghhitair,
*Gu deanadh uipinn de dh'or,
Dh'iaras fois thoirt d'a anam,
*N*air chi e mar ris na's leoir,
'Se neach sin feia rIs an canar,
Le Dia " an tamadan mor."
