Chi e finn roi dheoir, mar cheo,
Ach thuit na deoir, is chi e'n feol ;
Tha aighear a' brùchda' na ihuil.
" Tha Cumhall am fagus ie fhiuil !"
Feuch Lochlann anuas nar codhail,
'S Armor rompa mar dhamh cròice ;
Air tràigh Eirinn a làmh, ge bras,
Mife dh' f huafgail o theanna ghlais.
