VI. Of the Triphthongs.
A Triphthong is the union of three vowels in the famefyllable.
They are five in number ; viz. c:j, coi^iai, iui, luii; they are all found-
ed long, and feic'om occur but in words of one fyllable j lametimes they
cccur in the firfl fyllable of poll) fyllables.
