Harriette Roma, who died unmarried, in 1870. Mrs.
Campbell died on the 14th of January, 1877.
7. Eleanor Anne, who died unmarried on the 3rd of December,
1830, aged 13 years.
8. Mary Lowther, who, in 1846, married Robert Fergusson,
M.D., F.R.S. Physician to the Queen, with issue— (i)
Robert Ronald ; (2) Harold Stuart ; (3) Robert Bruce ;
(4) Mary Roma, who married Major Farrant of the 8 1st
Regiment ; and (5) Marian Cecil.
9. Elizabeth Roma, who died unmarried on the 9th of March
1845.
John Norman Macleod died on 25th March, 1835, when
he was succeeded by his eldest son,
XXII. Norman Macleod, now of Macleod, who, born on the
iSthof July, 1812, married on the 15th of July, 1837, the Hon.
Louisa Barbara St. John, only daughter of St. Andrew, 13th
Lord St. John of Bletshoe, with issue —
1. Norman Magnus, Captain, 74th Highlanders, who, born on
the 27th of July, 1839, married on the 27th of April,
188 1, Emily Caroline, second daughter of Sir Charles
Isham, Baronet of Lamport Hall, Northampton, with
issue — (i) Emily Caroline ; and (2) Margaret.
2. Torquil Olave, born on the lOth of August, 1841, and died
young on the 3rd September, 1857.
3. Reginald, born on the ist February, 1847, and married,
on the 17th of April, 1877, Lady Agnes Mary Cecilia,
eldest daughter of the late Right Hon. Earl of Iddes-
leigh, with issue — (r) Flora Louisa Cecilia; and (2)
Olive Susan Miranda.
4. Roderick Charles, a clergyman of the Church of England,
vicar of Borley, in Kent. He was born on the i8th of
April, 1852, and married, in 1885, Catharine, daughter
of W. J elf.
5. Louisa Cecilia, who, on the i8th of December, i860,
married John Moyer Heathcote of Conington Castle,
County of Huntington, with issue — (i) John Norman,
born on the 21st of June, 1863 ; (2) Arthur Ridley,
