2 06 GAELIC POETRY OF KNOWN AND UNKNOWN BARDS,
Gu iillamh, gu usgarach,
Gu lu-niliailleach, gu iichdardach,
Gu uidliiniichte, gu ughdarach,
Gu upagach, gu uilefhradliarcach,
Gu upairneacli, gu urglileusach,
Gu urbhuilleach, gu urspealach,
Gu uriabliracli, urlamhach, urneartmlior,
Gu coisneaclli na catlilaracli,
Ei bruidh'ne ur biugM,
A Chlanna Cliuinn cheudcbathaich,
'Si nis uair ur n' aithneacha,
A cbuileanan conf hadhacli,
A bheirichean bunanta,
A leogbuinan langhasda,
Ouncbonaibh iorgliuileach,
De laocbraidh cbrodha, churanta,
De chlannaibh Chuirni cheudchathaicb,
A chlannaibh Chuinn cuimhnichibh,
Cruas an am na h-iorghuil.
So dexterously, so gracefully,
Intrepidly, audaciously.
So actively, so haughtily,
All-wrathfully, so yellingly,
So hurtfully, so dreadfully,
Trustworthily, honourably,
So zealously, so grave-pit-ly.
Superiorly, cheerfully.
So readily, so jewelled,
Well-mailed-ly, high-breasted-ly.
Preparedly, authoritatively.
