NOTE.
While this work was passing through the Press the Editor had the
valuable assistance of the late Dr. C. R. M'Gillivray in correcting
the sheets. It is therefore hoped that the book wiU be found among
the most accurately printed specimens of the language which have
hitherto been issued, and to contain a rich store of idiomatic Gaelic.
