The following song is by Donnach Ban nan Oran, the Glenorchy bard ; but
I have not succeeded in getting a good set of the air. It is addressed, in
gratitude, to the foxes, because they killed the sheep.

My blessing on the foxes
That hunt (and kill) the sheep.

they are (too) rare to be found ;

It is the grey-faced sheep
That have oppressed the wold. —
