'Fàsgadh asda gamhlais.
Ged a bhruidhinn thu mu'n sgadan,
Cha d'thuirt thu dùrd mu na bhradan,
No na h-eòin a tha 's an ealtainn,
Ga'n glacadh gun taing dhuinn.
Foighneachd thusa Phàraig Bàn,
'S innsidh e dhuit ann an Gàidhlig,
H-uile bolla de mhin bhàn,
Tha'n da.il orra bho Chaingis.
Chuir mise fios gu ' Clach-na-Cùdainn, :
'S foighneachaidh e'n Ionarùraidh,
'S 'n uair a thilleas iad ga ionnsaidh,
An cunntas bidh meall ann.
