O shaoruinn, shaoruinrij shaoruinii i.
Air m'fhacal fhem gu'm I'aoduinn sin,
'S ged bhltheadh cuid nach saoileadh e,
Gu'n saoruinn Mari Ghreannar.
Shaoruinn, fhein gun teagamh i,
Ged bha mi trie ag bead'radh ri,
Nach d'iar mi ni mi dhleasdanach, I
*S nach freag'radh dhomh bhi caint air.
Shaoruinn fhein go deonach i,
'S cha b'eagal learn ged mhoidichin,
Nach d'fhuair mi bheag de d'f hotus innt,
O ghabh mi eolas caint oir*.
Mu tha cron ri leughadh ort
An gniomh, na'n gnè, cha leir dhomh e,
'S a dh'aindeoin beachd an t-saoghaiUso,
'S tusa daonnan m'annsachd.
