The Circuit Court of Justiciary for the counties of Aberdeen, Banff and
Kincardine meets at Aberdeen four times a year, in the months of
January, April, Juno and September, for the trial of criminal cases by
one or two of the Lords. Appeals in certain civil ctvscs from the inferior
courts are also heard by this court,

SHERIFF SMALL DEBT & CIRCUIT COURT.
The Ordinary Small Debt Court at Aberdeen is held on Thursday,
weekly, during session of the court, and once during vacation
The Circuit Small Debt Courts are held at Huntly and Turriff once
every three months, and Fraserburgh last Friday of every mouth in
session. W. Murdoch, Huntly ; William Ingram, Turriff ; and James
R. GrantjFraserburgh, are the persons who respectively issue summonses,
&c. to be brought in these courts, and a clerk from Aberdeen officiates

The Quarter Sessions are held on the first Tuesdays in March, May
and August, and last Tuesday in October. Special Sessions are
occasionally held.
