This Office has been established more than 67 years, and its present magnitude and prosperity prove the
soundness of the principles on which it has been conducted.
LIFE DEPAKTMENT.
The Accumulated Premiums are over £1,550,000. The Annual Income exceeds £160,000.
The sum of £6,000,261 has been paid in claims under Life Policies.
Whole World Assurances are granted.
Persons desiring to surrender their Assurances may receive their value in money, or, in lieu
thereof, may obtain a new Policy "without further payment of Premium.
The Directors are ready to receive proposals for Assurances, or aJiy contingency involving payment of a sum
at death.
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
No charge made for Policy Stamps.
Renewals should be paid withm fifteen days after the respective Quarter-days when they become due.
Losses occasioned by Lightning will be paid.
The Policies of the Company extend to cover Losses occasioned by the Explosion of Gas.
Bent may be assured by Special Agreement for a term not exceeding one year.
-All Fire Assurances are now exempt from the payment of Government Duty.
Tbe Company is ready to receive applicatioi^s for Agencies In tbose Towns and Districts in
\T licb it is not at present represented. A.ppllcation to be made to the Secretary.
Tables of Bates, Forms of Proposal, and any information needful to effect Life and Fire Assurances, may be
obtained on application to the Office, No. 92 Gheapside, London, or to any of the Company's Agents.
