The Board meets on the second Monday of each month
at half-past seven o'clock, in one of the class-rooms of the
Public School.
Education rate — 2d per £ on owner and occupant or
tenant, raising £200. Collector— J. R. Hendry.
ALVA SCHOOL BOARD.
Robert Walker (chairman) ; James Young, wool-agent ;
Finlay Williamson ; David Hogg ; William Gray, weaver ;
John Jack ; Robert Kyle. Clerk— James Young, Royal
Bank, Alloa. Treasurer — William Hunter, banker. Officer,
James M'Farlane. Janitor of Park Place School, John
Cochrane. Janitor of Green Square School, J. Michie.
The Board meets on third Monday of each month.
Education Rate raises £300.
DOLLAR SCHOOL BOARD.
Rev. A. Gunn, parish minister ; W. J. Haig, Dollar-
field (chairman) ; J. B. Henderson, chemist ; J. T. Munro ;
Rev. R. Paul ; Rev. W. B. R. Wilson ; Geo. S. Levack. Clerk
and Treasurer — J. F. Bowie ; Officer —John Campbell, janitor
of the Institution.
Meetings — which are held in the Public School — are called
by the Clerk as occasion requires.
Education rate is merely nominal.
TULLIALLAN SCHOOL BOARD.
Rev. John Smeaton (chairman); Rev. John W. Laurie;
Rev. R. Munro ; Rev. A. Esson Wilson ; Thos. R. Buchanan,
registrar. John Simpson, New Town, Kincardine, corres-
pondent, clerk, and treasurer of the Board. A. Jenkins,
compulsory officer. Board meets monthly.
Education Rate — 2f d per £ on owners, a»d 5d per £ on
tenants, raising about £170.
