The charter constituting this Lodge is dated 14th Nov., 1757, and
the centenary was celebrated on the 16th of Nov., 1857. The cele-
brated Earl Cathcart was for seven years Master of the Lodge.

about 30 members on the roll.

ALLOA LOYAL EARL OF KELLIE LODGE OF
ODDFELLOWS (Manchester Unity) FRIENDLY SOCIETY,
This Lodge was opened on the 27th March, 1869. Meets in the
Masonic Hall, Church St., every alternate Wednesday evening.
The officers are elected every six months, with the exception of
medical officer, managing secretary, and treasurer, who remain in
office during the pleasure of the lodge. Present membership—
about 200. The Right Hon. The Earl of Kellie, patron ; Dr Haig,
medical officer.
ALVA LOYAL JAMES JOHNSTONE LODGE OF
ODDFELLOWS (M.U.) FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
This Society was established on 20th May, 1871. Present
membership about 130. Meets fortnightly in the Infant School-room.
The officers are elected every six months, with the exception of
the medical officer and managing secretary, who remain in office
during the pleasure of the Lodge. James Johnstone, Esq., patron.

The following constitute the Executive of the Alloa Ladies'
