GOOD TEMPLAR LODGES .—Alloa.
Pride of the Forth, No. 143. — In$tituted, September
24th, 1870. Meets every Thursday evening in the Christian
Institute. Ohject. — The diffusion of temperance and prohibitory
principles, and the destruction of the liquor traffic.
Central Star Lodge, No. 408.— Instituted, Fel)y. 24th,
187L Meets every Tuesday in the Co-Operative Hall.
Opening Rose Juvenile Lodge.— Instituted, June 3rd,
1871. Meets every Saturday afternoon in the Christian Institute.
A L V A. — Queen of the Ochils, No. 227. — Meets every
Tuesday evening at eight o'clock in the Infant School. Num-
bers 180 members. There is also a juvenile lodge, the
" Princess of the Ochils." There is also a Degree Tkmplb
here for the purpose of conferring degrees on members of the
Independent Order of Good Templars. It is the only Temple
in tills quarter. It vcas established on the 8th day of May, 1875.
and is named "The Honourable Augusta Johnstone Temple."
Tillicoultry .—Lilt op the Valley Lodge, No.
819— Formed in Feby. 1871. Meets weekly in the Good
Templars's Hall, Mill Street, There is a juvenile lodge
designated the " May Flower." — Meets every Saturday.
D o L L A r. — Castle Campbell Lodge. —Instituted 22nd
April, 1871. About 80 members. There is a juvenile lodge,
the " Hope of Dollar." President— John M'Diarmid. Numbers
60 members.
Clackmannan . — Gospel Herald Lodge, No. 330.
Instituted in 1871. Meets every Thursday in the Zetland
School.
Sauchie. — Gem of the Ochils Lodge, No. 765.
Meets every Friday in the Colliery School-room. Juvenile
Lodge meets on Saturday.
