THE ACCURACY OF THE FOLLOWING LISTS, CON-
NECTED WITH THE POST OFFICE ESTABLISHMENT,
MAY BE FULLY DEPENDED ON ; AN APPLICA-
TION TO SIR EDWARDS LEES, TO CAUSE THEIR
CAREFUL REVISION AND CORRECTION BY A
COMPETENT PERSON, HAVING BEEN MOSTKINDLY
AND PROMPTLY COMPLIED WITH.
GENERAL POST DELIVERY The first
delivery commences at 8 a. m. and includes the
letters by the North and Glasgow (night) Mails.
The second delivery commences about 40 minutes
after the arrival of the Curricle Mail, — and, in
addition to the London letters and newspapers,
includes letters from York, Newcastle, Morpeth,
Galashiels, Melrose, St BoswelPs, Kelso, Jedburgh,
Lauder, Coldstream, Greenlaw, Earlston, Black-
sheils, and Ford.
The third delivery commences at 5 p. m. and
includes the letters by the Stirling, Dumfries, and
Carlisle Mails.
PENNY-POST DELIVERY. — The first
delivery commences at 8 a. m. and includes all
letters put in at the General Office between a
quarter before 6 p. m. and 8 a. m. ; at the
various Receiving Houses in Town between 5 p. m.
and a quarter after 7 a. m. ; and at Leith between
5 p. m. and 6 a. m. ; also Libberton, Lasswade,
Dalkeith, Ford, Kirkliston, Corstorphine, Uphall,
Cramond, Musselburgh, Prestonpans, and Por-
tobello Twopenny Posts.
