the centre of the Vennel to the point where it meets Inverkip Street ;
thence along the centre of Inverkip Street to the West Burn ; thence
up the West Burn to the Parliamentary Boundary ; thence along the
said boundary to the upper East Reservoir ; thence northward in a
straight line to the point in Drumfrochar Road where the First, Second,
and Third Wards meet ; thence westward along the centre of Drum-
frochar Road to Ann Street ; thence along the centre of Buccleuch
Street to Vennel ; thence northward along the centre of Ann Street
to Buccleuch Street ; thence along the centre of the Vennel to Charles
Street ; thence along the centre of Charles Street to Dalrymijle Street;
thence along the centre of Dalrymple Street to West Quay Lane ;
thence along the centre of the West Quay Lane to the West Qviay ;
thence along the West Quay to the margin of the river ; and thence
westward along the margin of the river to the point first described. —
Number of voters, 1558.
