THE SUBSCRIBER returns his sincere thanks to his Friends
and the Public for the very liberal support he has received in
the MANGLE DEPARTMENT of his Business, and having always
a Stock of well seasoned Materials, both for Patent Box and Cylin-
der Mangles, they can be confidently recommended.
He also calls particular attention to his WASHNG and "WRING-
ING MACHINES, as being of great advantage both to Public
Establishments and Private Families, enabling them to execute a
Washing in as sufficient a manner, in about one fourth of the time,
as that taken by the ordinary process. Any of the above Machines
made to order with the utmost promptitude and attention to the
wishes of the patron.

Mr MORRISON
HAS arranged to receive, by the 1st of AUGUST, a limited
number of YOUNG GENTLEMEN as BOARDERS, to be
Educated at the GLASGOW COLLEGIATE SCHOOL, and whose
Morning and Evening Studies will be Superintended by the Head
Master, assisted by accomplished Resident and non-Resident Masters.
The stimulus and discipline of a Public School of the highest class
will thus be combined with that method and thorough preparation
which can only be secured by Domestic Arrangements, formed and
carried out for the express purpose of promoting intellectual and
moral improvement. The curriculum of study will embrace an
Elementary Course, and three advanced courses, designed to prepare
Young Gentlemen respectively for Mercantile Life, the Universities,
or for the Civil or the Military Service.
Prospectuses, detailing Terms, Curriculum, Domestic Arrange-
ments, &c, may be had by applying to Mr Morrison, Collegiate
School, Garnethill, Glasgow.
