A great number of the members and other gentlemen friendly to
the Society dined together, in the Saracen's Head Inn, and spent the
evening in that agreeable manner for which the meetings of this highly
respectable and useful Society are destinguished
The annual show of Cattle, by members of the Renfrewshire
Agricultural Society, took place on Thursday 31st May.
The Judges awarded the premiums as follows : —
1 For the best Bull, above three year's old, to Thos.
Sommerville, Hatton - - - £6
2 For the second best Bull above three years old, to
John Brown, West Henderston, Abbey » 3
3 For the best Bull under three years old, to William
Craig, Coudenmuir, Neilston « -'400
4 For the second best Bull under three years old, to
James Glassford, Bargarran, Erskine - 2
5 For the best Bull under eighteen months old, to
Thos. Sommerville, Hatton
6 For the second best do. to John Harvey, Green-

7 For the best Milch Cow, to William Glen, Hawk-
