The Glenboig Company are the Sole Makers of the " GLENBOIG " and " STAR GLEN-
BOIG " brands, which stand first among Fire Bricks, for the construction of all kinds of
furnaces subjected to the highest heats and most sudden changes of temperature.
The use of these Bricks is found to be economical in districts where Fire Bricks are made
and sold at half the price of the " Glenboig " brand, but how much more economical must they
be when shipped abroad and where both qualities bear the same charge for carriage ?
The Glenboig Company purchased the Cumbernauld and Gartcosh Works for the purpose of
meeting the demands of buyers who require a cheaper Fire Brick of good quality, and they offer
them with confidence, knowing that they are unsurpassed by any other Fire Brick made in Scot-
land, excepting "Glenboig" alone.

GAS RETORTS.— The great number of Glenboig Retorts now in use in the prin-
cipal Gas Works at Home and Abroad is the best evidence of the high estimation in
which this brand is held by Gas Engineers, who know the importance of using "Retorts
that can be depended upon."

Glazed Fire Clay Pipes, and all descriptions of Junctions, Traps, &c. Makers of the
