Rates for Govan and Paktick Passenger Wharves.

These rates to include both Embarking and Land-

Passengers crossing from Govan, to proceed from
the Partick Wharf by the river steamers, or crossing
to Govan from the steamers, will be charged {he
Wharf Dues only on presenting Checks, to be had
on payment of these Dues from the Ferryman and
the Wharf Master respectively.
Rates for Planks, Stages, and Rhones.
1. — For Planks or Stages for loading or s. d

Rates for use of Water.
For the supply of Water to Vessels entering and
using the Harbour and Docks, 8d. per Puncheon.
If for the supply of boilers for steam in such vessels,
the following reduced charges will be made, viz : —
Trading Vessels to be charged. 2s. 6d. per 1000 gallons,
and new Vessels and Vessels fitting-out to be charged
3s. 4d. per 1000 gallons, either for the supply of
boilers for steam, or for testing boilers, or for testing
water tanks or ballast tanks.

If the Rates under Class II. for any single day of
Ten Hours during the employment of the Crane do
not amount to £2 2s., the charge for such day shall
be £2 2s., and in proportion for a shorter period;
but no charge shall be less than for half a day.
In both Classes, all necessary use of a Crane, from
the lifting of an article off its Carriage or Lighter
until stowed or adjusted in the Vessel, or from the
lifting of an article from the Vessel until placed on
its Carriage or Lighter, shall be included in one
Lift ; but if steam is to be raised a second time in
the course of a Lift, an additional charge shall ba
made of Five Shillings for a Crane capable of lifting
not more than Fifteen Tons; of Ten Shillings for a
Crane capable of lifting more than Fifteen Tons and
not more than Seventy Tons ; and of Fifteen Shillings
for a Crane capable of lifting more than Seventy Tons.
